Our Lady of Rosary Church, Malvan won the first prize at the Sindhudurg Diocese inter-parish carol singing competition; Our Lady of Milagris Cathedral, Sawantwadi won the second prize. The competition was organised on 8 December 2019 in Navsarni Kendra Sawantwadi.
A total of eight parishes participated in the glamorous event. The other parishes who presented were Kudal, Bhironda, Chinder, Mangaon, Ajgaon, Banda and Ratnagiri. The event comprised dance, skits and tableaus.
The judges of the competition were Ms Ornella Menezes, Br Reagan Martins and Adv Dominic Pereira.
The program was coordinated by Fr Melvyn Pais, Youth Director of Sindhudurg Diocesan Youth Commission and his team.
