The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated followed by the inauguration of the new school building by Bishop Alwyn Barreto.

The Silver Jubilee programme began with the garlanding of the statue of Our lady Of Rosary, patroness of the school, and the photo of the founder late Fr Gabriel D'Silva followed by lighting of the lamp. The colourful dance performances of the children graced the occasion while the rocking dance of the parents got the applause of the audience. At the same time, meritorious students were felicitated and the students who topped the board examinations in the past 16 years till the date were honoured.

Bishop Alwyn Barreto, the Chief Guest of the programme, said that the school that stands out today is a symbol of the hard work and dedication of all the teachers and non-teaching staff. Without them, the school would not have been able to reach this high peak and the two-division would not have started today.

Fr. Manuel DSilva the secretary of SDET said that the late Rev. Fr. Gabriel had planted a small sapling and it has been transformed into a fruitful tree. Even during the Pandemic, teachers with their hard work carried out many activities while maintaining the flow of education to the children online. He wished the school well in the future.

The school's annual report was presented in an audio-visual presentation. The school administrator, Fr. Richard Saldhana said, “I will be the shortest-serving Principal in the school to date, but I am indebted to the bishop for giving me the opportunity to serve as an administrator again this year in the background of the Covid-19 virus. The parents, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school also contributed a lot to the school and supported my initiatives. I am very thankful for that too. I don't understand how three years have passed. I learned many things while working in this school. I could not have completed the construction of the new school building without the cooperation of all the parents and benefactors. I thank the parents for their help and wish them all the best for the future."

Many interschool online competitions were organized for teachers and students on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee. The winning contestants and examiners were also honoured. Teachers & non-teaching staff, who have worked in the school for more than 10 years were also honoured by Bishop Alwyn.

Sponsors and Donors who helped the new building were also honoured at the event.

The principal of the school Fr Mariadas, said, "I am grateful to the organization for giving me the opportunity to work in this school. I will strive to make this

school shine in different fields."

All the teachers, non-teaching staff and parents of the school cooperated very well in making the programme a success while following all the Covid-19 protocols.
